INaSEC combines academic neutrality and impassioned engagement with Orthodox religious and cultural heritage. Anticipating on the future socio- and geopolitical developments, INaSEC offers a platform for an open and profound reflection on the past and present of Orthodoxy in specific European contexts. The aim of the Institute is to inspire interested dialogue, to involve scholars and decision-makers in intellectual debate and to stimulate them not to shy away from difficult or delicate topics. Thus, it not only contributes to academic knowledge, but also to multilateral diplomacy and to (ecumenical) dialogue. INaSEC makes a difference through its commitment, approach and the original and cutting-edge interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research.
