Palladius of Helenopolis on John Chrysostom’s Ordinations in Asia

Palladius of Helenopolis, who was directly involved in the affair, discussed the matter extensively in his Dialogue on the Life of St.

Patristic Gender Anthropology in Elisabeth Behr-Sigel

This paper situates Elisabeth Behr-Sigel’s work within the Catholic/Orthodox ressourcement movement of the mid-20th century.  Behr-Sigel retrieved the theological anthropology of the Cappadocians and others in the area of sexual differentiation and gender and, through her reading of the primary sources and her use of the research of other scholars, lifted up historical mate
