The Orthodox Theological Society in America will hold its 2010 Annual Meeting June 3-5, 2010 at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary.
The Annual Florovsky Lecture will be given by the Very Reverend John Erickson, entitled “Slavophile Thought and Conceptions of Mission in the Russian North American Archdiocese, Late 19th-Early 20th." Fr. John Erickson is the Peter N. Gramowich Professor of Church History, Professor Emeritus and former Dean of St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary. He is the author and editor of numerous books and articles, an expert in Canon Law, and has worked extensively with ecumenical organizations as a representative of the Orthodox Church.
